Surgical Pathology
Tissue biopsy samples are processed Monday through Friday, results are usually available the next business day. Routine biopsy reports are available online or can be delivered or faxed. Larger hospital cases may require more processing time but every effort is made to generate reports in a timely manner.

Cytopathology
The largest component of this service is the Pap smear. EPI offers both conventional and two types of liquid pap smears - ThinPrep® and SurePath®. Pap smear results are available in 1 to 3 days. A full spectrum of non-gynecologic cytology procedures is also available.

Fine Needle Aspirations

Consultations
Consultations regarding all facets of pathology are available to the medical profession.

Clinical Pathology
Our pathologists serve as clinical laboratory directors at three area hospitals and are available for consultation regarding lab test selection and interpretation.
