Non-Gynecological Samples

Eastside Pathology Inc. (EPI) offers a full testing menu for all non gynecologic cytology samples. These include fine needle aspirations from the breast, thyroid, lymph nodes and salivary glands. Non GYN cytology also includes urine, sputum, joint and cerebrospinal fluid sampling. The EPI Collection Manual contains specific specimen collection protocols and submission instructions.

The pathologist will provide a correlation between the non GYN cytology results and the appropriate previous or current surgical pathology results.
